The Red Cross really does a great deal of good.

In the wake of Sandy, they could use some of our help, blood, and money.

The Red Cross helped me out when my apartment building fell victim to arson. They gave me a cash card to help with food, and even offered to put me up in a hotel. I had family nearby, so I didn't take them up on the hotel. As a poor wage worker, that $50.00 cash card helped a lot though.

So, if you can, donate some money and or blood to the Red Cross.
