I'm interested to see how this forum progresses ... in contrast and/or complementary to A+ (have much to criticise with that forum, but no intention of doing so here now) ... might just observe for a bit ..

Welcome to the forum.

As I'm sure you've seen by now, the loudmouths like me don't share your compunctions. But you are right really, in that, whatever else it is shaping up to be, this forum should certainly remain constructive.

It's a bit early to say, bet tentatively there are four perspectives emerging:

The old-schoolers: "Let's reclaim skepticism back from the feminists !"

The diplomats: "Let's communicate across the great rift!"

The pragmatists: "Let's just all work together whatever our differences!"

The new-schoolers: "This is A+ just not safe space!"

and then, of course, there are those who so far just need a bit of therapy from the mauling they're received in the other place and haven't yet decided which way they're leaning.

hmmm... What compunctions do you imagine I have?

I was referring to your unwillingness to criticise A+. Re-reading, it's perhaps not so much compuctions but just that you didn't want to on your intro post.
