Re: Get your posh frocks on
Nine best films! That's new innit?
I've seen Argo, Django, Silver Inings and Zero Dark 30, all worth a watch I thought.
But Django Unchained is in a different league imo. Can't understand why QT didn't get a Director nomination, ridiculous.

I'm dreadful at these guessing games.
Then again I'm dreadful at picking a favorite.
Loved Django, Pi, Les Mis, Argo and Lincoln. Haven't seen the rest...

Re: Get your posh frocks on
This is the first year that I can remember that I have not seen a single one of the best picture nominees.
I find attending a movie theatre such a loathsome experience, I only see 3 or 4 movies in the theatre a year. The last movie I saw was The Hobbit in early January. Before that it was Skyfall in November.

I can sure top you on this one Scott. The last movie I saw in a theater was Apocalypse Now in 1979. Yet now, thanks to the www, I believe there are few films worth watching I haven't seen.
